Feather is a study of a Spotted Guineafowl feather, photographed in the Kimberley, Western Australia. Isolated against a deep black background, its intricate pattern, fine structure and delicate form become almost sculptural.
Photographed on location in the Kimberley, each study was created in situ using material found in the surrounding landscape. Objects were returned to where they were found, with nothing removed from the land, in respect for Country and its natural environment.
