A Branch- photographed within Mornington Marion Downs on Bunuba and Kija Country is a model for conservation in northern Australia, protecting 565,050 hectares of the iconic Kimberley region. The sanctuary is a naturalist’s paradise, providing refuge for over 200 species of birds and a range of small marsupials, native rodents and reptiles. The ancient landscape is home to the Ningbing False Antechinus (Ningbing Pseudantechinus), which is endemic to the Kimberley, as well as a suite of macropods such as the Antilopine Wallaroo and the elusive Northern Nailtail Wallaby.
