SPINAFEX

from $225.00

A tuft of coastal spinifex photographed along the beach at Vansittart Bay in the northern Kimberley, Western Australia.

I’ve always found these grasses fascinating — variable, sculptural and shaped by the harsh edge of wind, salt and sand. Isolated against a dark background, the form reveals a quiet complexity and beauty often overlooked in the landscape.

Photographed on location in the Kimberley, each botanical study was created in situ using material found in the surrounding landscape. Objects were returned to where they were found, with nothing removed from the land, in respect for Country and its natural environment.

Please Note

All framed works are supplied with UV acrylic Perspex as standard.
